Happy Fathers Day | History | significance

In our lives, we do not need a special day for celebrating our fathers day. Father is our role model, superhero, and inspiring character in our life. He is the man who plays a vital role in our life as a friend, parent, caretaker,  path guider, and support us in every small part of life.

Father Day is observed on the 3rd Sunday of June, In India, it will be celebrated on 20 June. The main celebration reason for fathers day is important and honour our fatherhood essence.

When is Mothers Day?

First Father’s day was celebrated in the United States of America. Due to tragedy of hundred men died in a mishap mining on July 5, 1908. in West Virginia, USA. After few years later Sonora Smart Dodd put forward the idea of observing fathers day in honour of her father.

A few years later, Sonora Smart Dodd suggested the idea of observing Father’s Day in honour of her father, William Jackson Smart Dodd’s father, a Civil War veteran, raised her and her five siblings as a Single Parent.  she began promoting Father’s Day at national level
