August 12th: International Youth Day 2021

The International Youth Day was founded on August 12 to raise awareness of cultural and legal issues related to youth. In 1999, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the recommendations of the World Youth Ministers’ Conference and designated this day as International Youth Day. It is then celebrated every year to emphasize the importance of youth as the engine of change in the world. He emphasized that without meaningful youth participation, such a global effort cannot be successful achieved.
