Eid Milad-un-Nabi/Id-e-Milad 2021 in India

Milad-un-Nabi is celebrated as the birth and death day of Prophet Mohammad. It is observed as the 3rd month of the Islamic lunar calendar which is also called the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal.

This day is also honour as Prophet’s death anniversary with restrictive celebrations. Milad-un-Nabi day is also called Maulid it is an Arabic word meaning is ‘giving birth’. Maulid is celebrated on the 12th day of the Rabi-ul-Awwal month.
