September 21: International Day of Peace 2021
Each year on 21st September is observed as World Peace Day or International Day of Peace. The United Nations General Assembly in 1981 first declared has the third Tuesday of September and after so many opening sessions was held. In 2002 the UN General Assembly changed the date to 21st September.
International Day of Peace is celebrated to raise awareness on people of all races and all countries to think about world peace. On this day, across all nations observe a ceasefire for 24 hrs in all fighting ongoing areas.
