May 19: May Ray Day

On May 19, step out of your offices and homes and soak in the Sun's rays because it is May Ray Day. While the origins of the day are unknown, the day encourages people to enjoy some time under the Sun When is National Sunglasses Day? There’s a saying that goes “April Showers bring May Flowers” that talks about the natural turning of the seasons and how the wonderful spring rains. Each year this turning of the page comes about bringing the awakening rains of early spring, and then the comfortable warmth and rich smells of May bursting into flowers. Unless you’re in New York, where sometimes it decides that May is a perfectly acceptable month to snow in, but that’s another matter. There are many ways to enjoy the outdoors and the warmer days as summer approaches.  Whether your place under the sun is at the park, a rooftop or your own back yard find a way to enjoy the nicer weather.  If mother nature isn’t cooperating, there are several days in May remaining.
